OHFA Homebuyer Assistance

Program Updates

OHFA will be updating is homebuyer assistance
programs to ensure the Agency's ability to provide
Ohio homebuyers with discounted mortgage rates
and down payment assistance. Effective with
reservations on or after July 1st, OHFA's down
payment assistance will change to 3% for Conventional
loans and 3.5% for Government loans (FHA, VA, UDSA).

Feel the Power of Home

Power of Home was created in December of 2020 to help OHFA customers access resources to help them make repairs to their homes. In February 2025, the program launched a free, open access website available to all homeowners in the state of Ohio.
